Born and raised in rural central Pennsylvania as the youngest of four children, Jenn often spent her time lost in the pages of a novel. She grew up playing in the woods with The Boxcar Children, going on quests for Zeus’s lightning alongside Percy Jackson and walking through the wardrobe into Narnia. Her love for reading developed into a love for writing which has carried over into her career.
As the Communications Coordinator for a country club in Pittsburgh, Jenn earned her claim as being a jack of all communication trades and learned the cornerstones of successful multi-tasking: iced coffee and a fast golf cart.
Wanting to use her skills for nationally impactful work, she moved to the Washington, DC area and began working for the Woman’s National Democratic Club, where she helped lead the Club’s communications and speaker program strategy.
Jenn has a passion for both the analytical and creative sides of digital marketing. With her background in membership-based organizations, she’s spent years crafting plans to increase and maintain enrollment levels by using data to drive key decisions. Along with being data savvy, Jenn is an experienced graphic designer that loves creating images to tell a brand’s story.
A sunrise alarm clock and a passion for being a small part of the positive changes within the education system.
Jenn is a self-taught amateur film photographer, so you’ll probably find her with a vintage Canon capturing memories of her friends and family. When she isn’t directing the group photo, you can find her thrifting with friends or at a local coffee shop drinking an Americano.
Jenn earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in writing from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown and is currently working on her master’s degree in Political Communication from the University of Florida.
